TEXTURES GIVE ME FEELINGS 


The project began with my deep love for the church organ and the reel-to-reel tape recorder. I started by exploring the organ's timbre and sonic possibilities. This process gradually led me to compose, improvise, and collaborate with a string quartet bringing together musicians from Denmark, Iceland, and Poland.

The piece is about embracing textures - both within ourselves and in the world around us.

Interdisciplinary project that transforms photography into live acoustic music. The project encourages deep listening and explores how music can emerge from everyday surroundings.

During the festival Malina present’s a duo interpetation with a cellist Naja Soulie and perform in a Refshaleøen space in Copenhagen.
